One-of-a-Kind Shop on the South Side |
||
Are you the type of person who is always on the look out for a one-of-kind item? Zenith on the Southside is the place to go. Drawn to quirky vintage shops, I started popping into Zenith on a semi-regular basis close to ten years ago. My first steal was a set of art deco flour/sugar/coffee/tea canisters for my just-out-of-college apartment. The canisters made the move to Philly for my grad school years and returned to Pittsburgh with me over five years ago to grace the kitchen counters of my first home. Over the years, the store has evolved from the vintage store/gallery for local artists/coffee shop that it was ten years ago. Today Zenith’s café offers delectables as memorable as their vintage items. Their Sunday brunch is one of the best in town. The relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere is the perfect setting to catch up with an old friend. Meander through the shop while you wait for your table and you’re guaranteed to walk out with a bargain! |
