A worthy tourist attraction here is the Oliver Bathhouse. The season pass is a deal at I think $30, or it’s $4 a day. Built by iron magnate Henry Oliver for the unwashed masses of the South Side, it’s now the city’s only public indoor pool. The building has wonderful fish carvings on the outside, and inside, a cathedral ceiling, a pool lined in beautiful blue tiles and plenty of hot water.
